We are shaped by what we do. Each day is a series of actions and behaviors – we have the choice to act out of mindless habit or thoughtful intention. Rituals are a means to actively participate in life with meaning and purpose; a way to add meaning to our lives and the lives of others; an act of self-care.

I named my business Ritual Made in recognition of our own rhythms – the drum beat of our bodies and the natural world. A ritual is a supportive structure upon which we can thrive. Rituals anchor us in our personal truths so we can offer our services in a way that’s genuine, unique, and aligned. 

Meet the Designer

Down-to-earth yoga teacher meets brainy art director.

I’m Danielle Alling, the designer and wearer-of-all-hats behind Ritual Made. I’m a seasoned designer and a dedicated yogi with a knack for bringing out the beauty in all things.

If you’re anything like me, you’ve got a fire inside that’s calling you to do big things. You set out to do something that’ll add some good into this world – healing people, helping people, revealing truth. You’re passionate about your work, excited for the milestones in your planner, and you just can’t wait to share it all with the world.

Your brand has a story as unique as a fingerprint. It’s a woven tapestry of all the paths, side journeys, detours, even dead-ends you’ve taken to get to where you are today. More so, it’s the journey each member of your community undergoes to achieve the transformation you offer them.

I’m here to be your trusted partner in all things design, helping you to articulate that journey and to clarify your brand so we can craft a visual narrative that you can proudly share – one that speaks your truth, aligns with your ethos, and deeply connects with your most loyal fans.

Call it purpose, call it dharma, but I believe that an aligned brand is one that helps you fully step into whatever you’re here to do.

INTEGRITY

My take on integrity is a deeply felt form of honesty + maturity + responsibility. It means doing the best I can with the knowledge and tools I available to me. It’s about owning up to the mistakes I’ll inevitably make, and when those mistakes do happen, approaching each situation from a lens of compassion.

AUTHENTICITY

Yea it’s a buzzword, but how else to say it? I value what’s real, what’s true, what’s genuine. Even all the messy parts of business and life that define who you are. That’s the stuff that makes life interesting. I’m not here to follow trends, I’m here to pull out what’s real for you.

PARTNERSHIP

I’m good at what I do, but I don’t pretend to have all the answers. I approach every project as a collaboration: you know your business, and I know design. With our skills and expertise combined, together we’ll craft the very best visuals that will have the right impact for your business.

SIMPLICITY

Simplicity in my approach, my design style, my ethos. When it comes to managing your brand and website, I consider the person behind the scenes who’ll be tending to the garden. There’s no need to overcomplicate things. Life and business are messy enough – let’s make the rest of it easy.

QUALITY

I’m not the fastest designer out there, and occasionally I’ll take a little more time – always for good reason. I communicate the timeline and any changes up front, I don’t cut corners, and I devote 100% of my energy into each and every project.

Get to Know Me

being deeply immersed in the natural world is what i do. i have probably backpacked close to 7,000 miles in my adult life and spent a few hundred nights in the wilderness entirely on my own.

in 2010 i became a peace corps volunteer, teaching physics in tanzania.

my friends affectionately call me the queen of jomo.

my art interests tend to fluctuate wildly, but currently include sewing clothes, primitive pottery, and natural dyes.

i’m a lifelong yogi, doing my best to embrace the fullness of the vedic tradition (and forever in love with iyengar yoga)
